Renting out your home, pulling the kids out of school and enrolling them in k12 home school program, vaccinations, booking travel and lodging, and decluttering and storing our personal belongings was and is an undertaking, to say the least, all of which were possible only for Michelle.

The planning stages:
Working Remotely
Determining the ability to work 100% remotely. Michelle is lucky to be able to work anywhere globally. Me on the other-hand, the company I work for has over 16,000 employees globally and face challenges for right to work and taxation liability for employees working while traveling globally. Originally not an issue, in the final stages of preparing for the trip a shift in my organizations policy put my participation in flux, and will see how things will play out.
I'm not going to sugar coat it, its been extremely difficult on me and as a result had an impact on all of us. The organization I work for is amazing, and think the world of the mission and services they provide, but this situation has also forced me to revaluate what can I do with the situation to maximize my participation and ensuring I will be in the right position to achieve both flexibility in working while maximizing and being "There" physically and mentally with the family.
Renting out your home
Renting out your primary residence while you travel lessens the financial liability and in our case actually provided an additional income source due to supply and demand. We are very lucky to not only have an amazing realtor, Aaron Masliansky with Realtor at Dream Town Realty .
Aaron made the stressful situation much more barrable and less stressful than things could have been. Thanks to Aaron, we have an amazing tenant on the right terms and as noted an additional revenue stream allowing more feasibility in the trip and planning process.
